Port of Oakland Maritime Logo

As part of the Port of Oakland maritime division’s marketing refresh, the need for a new logo became clear. With some brand confusion present between the over-arching Port of Oakland and the seaport itself, the latter opted for a re-brand and new logo. Ciniva Web Agency has been working closely with the seaport’s marketing team to ensure that the logo we develop is unique and inspiring.

While we await final approval, we present the the near-finished logo design. We’ve implemented feedback from several internal stakeholders, ensuring that the colors and visuals are both accurate and reflective of the Port of Oakland’s reputation as a vibrant shipping hub. The logo simultaneously pays its dues to the Port of Oakland’s rich history while also embodying a more contemporary aesthetic.
